Watts and Associates, Inc. was established as an economic and financial
consulting firm during the financial upheaval of agriculture in the
1980’s. The early years enriched a solid understanding of risk management
and the overall economic situation of U.S. agriculture participants.
W&A has completed numerous contracts involving insurance development;
31 ongoing or completed RMA crop insurance projects,
and over 1500 individual farm level clients. The firm’s four principals
collectively have more than seven decades of risk management, crop
insurance analysis and insurance development experience. The firm
is continuing the tradition of innovation through sagacious research
and sensible development. Concepts continue to evolve encompassing
issues outside agriculture as many theories can be applied beyond
borders, both business and geographical.
